STOP IT!
Your goodness is already established.
Engaging in another conversation of “what’s wrong/not enough” in conditioned mind is simply indulgent. It does nothing for you, nothing for anyone else, and nothing for the world. It serves no purpose other than adding another slice of suffering to what already exists.
Is it scary to let go that familiar (most intimate) relationship? No doubt. But we can do it. And don’t indulge a voice that says you can’t do it. Of course you can. You know how; it’s just a matter of choosing it. Will the voices talk you out of doing what you know how to do to put paid to them? Absolutely. Does that mean you should believe their crapola about what a weak, unwilling, worthless lump of loser you are?
Definitely not!
That’s the name of the game for ego: Distract, manipulate, control, humiliate, and guilt trip. We know that.
Those voices constantly push us to quit…..practice. Time to take their advice and quit…..being subjected to them.
Time to STOP IT.*
*If you haven’t seen, or haven’t seen in a while, Bob Newhart’s “Stop It” video, now would be a good time for it.
