On the landing page for the Africa Vulnerable Children project, the following is stated:
Gratitude wants to give.
As we learn to embrace ourselves in unconditional love and acceptance, we experience a profound sense of well-being and joy. We begin to do what we do as a thank you to Life for all that we have been given. It is in this spirit that we do the work of the Africa Vulnerable Children Project.
This month, we have two girls starting nursing school, Mary B. and Mary M. There are quite a lot of items the school requires students to have to begin the first year, from uniforms to medical supplies to fees. When we met with Theresa to review the list, she shared that some of the items would be purchased by the community. “We want to give that encouragement that we are there for them. It’s the loving family that we are.”
We give thanks to these wonderful individuals:
Beatrice, 20 thick books
Veronica, 1 nurses watch
Brenda and Susan, 1 nurses watch
Peter, 10 pens
Charles, 2 packs of swabs
Monica and Florence, 2 big bottles of hand sanitizer
Natasha and Euginia, 1 box of gloves
Juliet and Memory, 1 box of gloves
Pauline, 2 small pots
Elias, 4 plates
Gratitude wants to give! Truly.
Gassho,
Sreedevi
