Africa Project Update

In the past week, Theresa received information from our nursing school girls about a new requirement.

Now, whenever I receive new information, usually related to something that is “required,” such as a new policy I am asked to follow, a new bank charge or other items, my conditioned response is “Of course, I will do that.”  (I project this is from a subpersonality who wants to be “good” and follow the rules and not cause “trouble.”) If I wait even a moment before responding, egocentric karmic conditioning is right there to keep “me” in line.  “Don’t question this.” “Follow the rules.” “Stay quiet!” “Don’t challenge authority!”

Not Theresa!  After hearing this, she decided (on her own) to go to the nursing school (which is about an hour drive or so away) on a Sunday to meet with the headmaster and speak with him about this requirement.

As a result, when Theresa shared the information with us, we were able to have a more informed and educated conversation to help guide our next steps. What a lovely example and teaching moment about the importance of operating from the spirit of inquiry!
