Everything Is the Buddha

Beginning to write this essay is an exercise in ever-expanding faith.  For someone who feels challenged to find words to describe experience, volunteering to be available to write an article for the newsletter is keeping a commitment to the practice of saying yes.

Yes to Practice.

Yes to possibility.

Yes to being the channel for Life to express.

How to relate “my” experience of Everything Is the Buddha?  How to describe the experience of being at the Monastery and the feeling of being in an energy field of conscious compassionate awareness?  Everything at the Monastery is cared for in a kind, loving way, and I am invited to open to experience the process of non-separation.

Everything is the Buddha.

Everything is sacred.

Everything belongs.

The privileged environment offers a mirror in which I have the opportunity to recognize and have the experience of being a cell in the body of the Buddha, of being an expression of That Which Animates.

To be sure, it is a practice and an exhilarating one!  Again and again, I return to thisherenow and the joy of intelligence knowing itself.  I experience being cared for and being loved unconditionally, embraced by Life—by the body of the Buddha.  And in turn, be in the process of caring for, loving unconditionally, and embracing Life.   What more could one ask for?
