The Power of Sangha
When the recent “It’s Time to Feel Good” email class ended, we decided to extend it through the holidays. We asked folks continuing for a minimum $20 donation to help purchase a much-needed truck for the Monastery. Participants donated and the result is MoJo (more jobs, more joy), the hunky 2007 Ford F150 truck.
Last year Systematic Solutions made a donation to expand our photovoltaic system. This year brought an equally generous gift that will allow us to have (this would be a good moment for you old-timers to sit down) electric refrigerators on the property. No more antique propane fridges that fail in the heat, and no more driving up the road to the neighbors each time we need something refrigerated. This is like being given a car after walking everywhere your whole life!
And last, though certainly not least in my world, a while back a campaign was launched to build an office for me. People donated and now I have an adorable office. Sadly, the records of who donated are missing, which means I cannot personally thank those who gave. Please know that I am deeply grateful for your generosity and love this little office.
