The colorful vibrancy of spring showers us with reminders to practice breathing into each chakra. The berries of a toyon after a spring rain take us to the unconditional love of the first chakra—red!
The first poppy bloom invites us to breathe in the generosity and abundance of Life—orange!
The variety of yellow wild flowers is stunning, each one a chance to experience our willingness.
It would be easy to walk past a foxglove flower and note how "darling" it is, and if you did not get down and look right into it you would miss one of nature's most magnificent creations. Feel the violet and the white open to peace. Ahhhh….
Alas, our wall is not large enough to display the hundreds of gorgeous images of spring colors. Come see it for yourself! Here, a Monastery resident invites us to the rainbow to take in all of the chakras at once!
The spring blooming and blossoming are only the tip of the iceberg of what is happening here at the Monastery. After a big winter with many storms, residents are hard at work cleaning up the property. Cheri is out there with us day after day, on this day our main sawyer. Yes! Practice keeps us vibrant.
