Africa Project Update

Children Are Staying Home is having a ripple effect throughout the Kantolomba community and demonstrating, once again, the beauty of this Practice.

On a recent Good News Update, Jen said that 250 copies of the book have been distributed, and Theresa has reported how excited the community is to be represented in a book for the first time. It was a story about them for them.

How it all came together is a real testament to saying “Yes” to Life. There Jen was, working on a project, when Life dropped in an idea and she was there for it. Then, Theresa was there to receive the gift of the book and distribute it.

And Charles was there to say, “Well, I can do that” and now has begun writing a story of his own. According to Theresa, he is holding it close to his heart until he is finished. Meanwhile, Veronica is next in line, waiting to read Charles’ story before she begins hers. We now have this emerging group of writers!

It’s amazing what happens when we are present and say “Yes” to what drops in. Perhaps each of us will be inspired to begin writing our own stories!

If you haven’t yet had a chance to do so, you can read the book here.
