Monastery Wall


Several recent rainstorms have brought a colorful transformation to the courtyard. Little green shoots and grass are replacing the yellow color of the drier, hotter weather.

The eager little green growth covers the ground in the garden. At this point it looks a bit like lawn but will grow quite tall.
 

This flower bush was teaming with bees buzzing in and around, gathering pollen in the garden.

Someone has created a lattice of string that stands ready to support plants growing upward. Maybe some peas or beans?
 

The Hollyhock plants are growing big and strong and a few blooms seem to be playing “hide and seek.”
