After January rains, some of the pine trees that succumbed to the beetles last year began to fall. The monks got some good exercise clearing the road and hauling wood to be used for firewood!

A new large water tank awaits installation. Summer seems a long way away, but this Monastery water tank will help our garden and courtyard plants survive those long hot days without needing to draw from the underground well.
The little flowers in these barrels are so well loved and cared for. Wire protects them from the deer and these white coverings protect them from the freezing temperatures of a February snow.
