We recently got this email from Theresa:
Great news from Kantolomba; we have done it again, a 100 percent pass rate for our students who sat for Grade 7 exams this year. The results are out and all the All Stars students who were coming in for extra lessons made it. All the Girls who are in the Stay In School program are also among the new Grade 8s for next year. There was great excitement at the property as they all came rushing in waving their results.
There is really nothing for us to add. It is phenomenal. All those children who, without their Living Compassion community of 35 adults who teach, feed and love them and fellow 800 friends who participate with them, would be barely surviving let alone passing their standardized exams—thriving. It is a fabulous holiday gift for us all.
